Surrey Eagles Fundraiser for Big Brothers
Cheer on the Surrey Eagles as they play against the Alberni Valley Bulldogs for the last home game of the season on Sunday, February 21. Special rate of $10.00 each (adult or child) — 50% of ticket sales supports us! Click here for more information.
Kudos
The Great-West Life Assurance Company, London Life Insurance Company, and The Canada Life Assurance Company granted $25,000 to Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver Foundation. These funds will support the charity’s Aboriginal mentoring programs.
TELUS Vancouver Community Board generously granted $20,000 to support our Aboriginal mentoring program.
In September, Eli Brennan and Clint Goldsmith hosted the 6th annual Charity Pitch N Putt, raising $8,585 to support mentoring programs in the community.
Moksha Yoga raised $6120 through a cause-related campaign at their Burnaby, East Vancouver, and Vancouver locations to support our mentoring programs.
Tim Horton’s Squamish once again raised funds to support mentoring programs in the Sea-to-Sky region through its annual SMILE cookie campaign. They raised a total of $3,640 this year!
Centaur Products Inc. generously donated $3,000 on behalf of Dave Wilson to support our mentoring programs.
The City of Surrey donated $2,000 to support our Community, ISM and Teen programs in Surrey.
The Estate of Joan Wayne left a legacy donation of $2,000 to support our mentoring programs. Joan’s son benefited from having a Big Brother mentor when he was younger.
Diane Johnson donated $2,000 to support our mentoring programs.
