Board Member Conflict of Interest Disclosure

Transparency and Accountability

Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver is committed to operating with integrity and transparency. As part of our governance practices, we maintain rigorous conflict of interest management to ensure that Board decisions are made in the best interest of the organization and the communities we serve.

Conflict of Interest Policy

All Board members complete an annual conflict of interest declaration. This declaration ensures that any potential conflicts between a Board member’s personal interests and their responsibilities to BBGV are identified and managed appropriately.

Board Member Payments

Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver Board policy prohibits payments for products or services to Board members or to companies in which a Board member is an owner, partner, or senior staff member. Board members volunteer their time and expertise to guide the organization’s mission and governance.
