Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver Foundation Awards Supporters, Sponsors and Donors at the Evening of Thanks for Friendship and Support
Sponsored by Wakefield Canada and XY3 Design and Communications, Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver Foundation (BBGVF) held their annual Evening of Thanks to honour companies and individuals who have made exceptional contributions to their fundraising efforts. Held at Bridges Restaurant the evening of November 18th, it was an excellent opportunity to show gratitude.
Hosted by former BC Lion and current Big Brothers' Board member Jamie Taras, the event also featured the words of Donna Moroney, a mother whose son is in the Big Brothers' program. Speaking of her son's relationship with his Big Brother, Donna said, "I believe that as a direct result of Isaiah's relationship with Daniel, he is a very confident and outgoing young man."
BBGVF congratulates all the award recipients for their achievements and thanks them for their continued support.
*BBGVF is a seperate legal entity which raises funds solely to support Big Brothers' mentoring programs for children. They carry out a number of fundraising intiatives, including third party events, cause-related marketing, grant writing and major events, such as The Bowl for Big Brothers Classic and The Canaccord Big Brothers Golf Open.
