Circus of the Night

Kwantlen Polytechnic University Event Management students will put on a fundraising event for Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver (BBGV) on February 9th. Circus of the Night is a circus-themed exclusive fundraiser being held on at The Grid Lounge.  Tickets are $40 and will treat attendees to music, a silent auction, hors d’oeurves and an illusionist. + Read More

Pemberton Girls

This October, Pemberton High School partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sea to Sky Corridor to develop Pemberton Girls, a visionary program that promotes the healthy development of adolescent girls. Run by the Squamish satellite office of Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver (BBGV), the program provides girls with a safe environment to learn about positive body image, drug and alcohol abuse, violence and exploitation prevention and healthy well-being.+ Read More

Big Brothers Big Sisters Family Fun Day In Sechelt Made Possible Through Emergency Services

The Bachelorette Volunteers with Big Brothers

Jillian Harris, 29, earned the title Bachelorette when ABC viewers fell in love with her bubbly personality on the hit show The Bachelor. As it turns out, the charming Vancouverite volunteered with Big Brothers from 2005 to 2008 as an In-School Mentor at Bayview Elementary School.
