Big Brothers Big Sisters Sea-To-Sky Corridor
Over 30 years ago, Big Brothers Big Sisters opened its doors and hearts to the small but growing community of Squamish. We started by offering our well-known Big Brother and Big Sister mentoring program and began to introduce innovative mentoring options to meet the needs of our changing communities.
In 2000, Big Brothers Big Sisters Squamish incorporated as a satellite office of Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver. In 2006, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Whistler-Pemberton also became a satellite office. In 2007, we expanded our service area to include the Sunshine Coast. The result was an area connected by high quality friendships and an exciting menu of community-based and in-school mentoring programs.
Now known as Big Brothers Big Sisters Sea-to-Sky Corridor, the agency is officially part of Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver but independently serves the communities north of the Lower Mainland.
