Registration

How can I participate?

Tournament entrance is guaranteed through sponsorship. Please see the Sponsorship Opportunities for details.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations received after June 6, 2008 will not be reimbursed. Cancellations received prior to June 6, 2008 will incur a $200 processing fee.

Do I get to choose my foursome?

Participants may choose their Friday foursomes. Saturday’s round is a draw.

At the Event

How do I get there?

To the Westin Resort and Spa, Whistler
Take the Upper Levels Highway
Exit at the Horseshoe Bay Exit
Travel north on Highway 99 (Sea to Sky Highway)
Turn right at Whistler Way
The hotel is on the right

From the Hotel to Nicklaus North Golf and Country Club
Go west on Whistler Way toward Tantalus Drive
Turn a slight right onto Sea to Sky Hwy/ Provincial Route 99
Turn right onto Nicklaus North Blvd

From the Hotel to Big Sky Golf and Country Club
Take the Upper Levels Highway
Continue about 35km, or 25 minutes, North of Whistler
You will pass a Petro Canada gas station on your left
Continue around to the right along Highway 99 until you see the signs
Turn right onto Airport Road, following this road until you see Big Sky on your right

If I travel to Whistler on Thursday, can accommodation be arranged?

Yes, please indicate on your registration form that you require Thursday night accommodation.

Are there any activities planned for Thursday evening?

Yes, all sponsors and participants are welcome to attend the welcome reception in The Mountain Club at the Westin Resort and Spa, Whistler.

What do I wear to the Friday evening reception?

The Friday evening reception is semi-formal.

If my spouse is not golfing, can he/she attend the Friday evening reception?

Yes.

What are typical weather conditions for Whistler in June?

Whistler weather conditions are very unpredictable. Please plan for all sorts of weather and keep in mind that we have even experienced light flurries in the past.

How the Tournament Benefits Children

How do the proceeds of the Whistler Golf Classic help community children?

All proceeds support Big Brothers’ mentoring programs for children. They fund volunteer screening and training and monitoring of friendships between Bigs and Littles. Learn about our programs.
